Join us for an informative discussion on the Bats of Illinois,
with Abby Pagels of the Illinois Bat Conservation Program. Learn about basic bat biology, interesting facts, benefits of bats, and threats to bats (both local and world-wide). Find out more about the Illinois Bat Conservation Program (https://www.illinoisbats.org), what they do, how they study bats, and how they use that data to help conserve our bats here in Illinois.
If the weather is right, Abby can demonstrate the acoustic recorder to see if we can pick up any bat calls in real time in the parking lot! This is sure to be a fun and educational presentation, so please join us!
