We will explore one of the lesser known land holdings of the Jane Addamsland Park Foundation. It contains an old quarry and is adjacent to the Jane Addams Trail. However there are no established trails within the woods, so wear sturdy shoes and protective clothing. Park along McConnell Road near the trail crossing just west of the town of Buena Vista, or carpool from the Harbor Freight parking lot at 8:30 AM.
