Hear stories about our earliest spring wildflowers, their folklore and their uses throughout history by Native Americans and early settlers.  Be inspired to add some of Illinois’ wildflowers to your own garden.\nCindy is a Master Gardener that teaches in the Master Gardener Program and coordinates volunteers on the fourth oldest restored prairie in North America.  She trains dragonfly monitors and coordinates dragonfly monitoring programs at two sites in Illinois.   Cindy serves on the Friends of Nachusa Grasslands Science Grants committee that works to support the tallgrass prairie. Her books include: Chasing Dragonflies: A Natural, Cultural, and Personal History, Tallgrass Conversations: In Search of the Prairie Spirit and Tallgrass Prairie: An Introduction.  \n\n\n
